EASA Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation Approval

Description

This course provides participants with an understanding of EASA Part 147 together with the associated Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and the Guidance Material (GM). This will enable participants to help their organisations demonstrate and maintain compliance with the requirement.

By the end of this course, participants will demonstrate through class discussion:

  • Knowledge of what is required relating to compliance in relation to their particular job role to the national authority and where necessary to the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
  • An understanding of the requirement to participate in an initial approval process of Part 147 organisation
  • An understanding of how to construct a Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition (MTOE)
  • An understanding of how to construct and control training courses
  • An understanding of the processes for control and quality of an organisation
  • An appreciation of the Part-66 licence
