Description

The Bowtie Methodology lies at the foundation of The Hazards and Effects Management Process (HEMP), the latter being originally developed to provide a structured approach to the analysis of safety hazards throughout the life cycle of an installation that has become the International Best Practice for risk management. The Bowtie technique offers a powerful visual tool for analyzing hazard scenarios and communicating to the workforce how hazards are released, how they can escalate and how they can be managed effectively.

Learn the basics of Risk Management (RM) and how to perform qualitative risk assessment in your own organisation. Teaching the value of a risk-based approach, it is essential to ensure that the appropriate controls are put in place and is thus a prerequisite to an effective risk management programme.

Content:

This training course is highly interactive with extensive participant involvement. Combining discussions necessary to provide the knowledge and principles of ISO 31000 for risk assessments, there will also be additional exercises for the practical application of the basic principles and sharing by participants.
