Description
- Refresh the theoretical and practical elements of the subject
- Updates of the new instructions are issued which are related to the material, tools, documentation
- Have knowledge of the history of events related to fuel tank safety issues and the theoretical and practical elements of the subject
- How mechanics can recognize, interpret and process improvements made or being made to the continuing airworthiness instructions for fuel tank system maintenance

Who Should Attend?
Personnel of the Part-145 approved maintenance organization required to plan, perform, supervise, inspect and certify the maintenance of aircraft and fuel system components.
Content:
- Background showing examples of FTS accidents or incidents
- Have an overview of the FM regulations known as SFAR (Special FAR) 88 of the FAA and of JAA Temporary Guidance Leaflet TGL 47
- Be able to give a detailed description of the concept of fuel tank system ALI (including Critical Design Configuration Contrai Limitations CDCCL) and using theoretical fundamentals / specific examples
- Have the capacity to combine and apply the separate elements of knowledge in a logical and comprehensive manner
- Have knowledge on how the above items affect the aircraft
- Be able to identify the components or parts or the aircraft subject to FTS from the manufacturer’s documentation
Blended Learning Framework:
- E-LEARNING with provision of training materials beforehand with an online pre-evaluation on the Learning Management System
- DISTANCE LEARNING with instructor by using workshops, simulation tools, open discussions and a final assessment to validate the acquired knowledge
- Issuing of the training attestation with the same value as a face-to-face training
